The Restylane® Collection

Restylane® • Restylane® Lyft™ • Restylane® Silk • Restylane® Refyne™ • Restylane® Defyne™

Achieve natural-looking volume and definition for your cheeks, lips, and nasolabial fold.

As skin ages, the levels of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid decrease, and tissue hydration is lost. This results in visible wrinkles, lines, and sagging. Fortunately, aging has met its match at Kucumber Skin Lounge. Kucumber’s experts skillfully administer Restylane®, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft™, Restylane Refyne™, and Restylane Defyne™ hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. These injectable fillers are specifically formulated to add volume and fullness to your cheeks, lips, and mid-face. Redefine your own natural beauty with Kucumber’s Restylane, Restylane Silk, and Restylane Lyft treatments for:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Mid-face volume restoration
  • Under-eye restoration
  • Lift sagging skin
  • Facial sculpting
  • Lip & cheek augmentation
  • Scar revision
  • Nasolabial fold volume restoration

Restylane adds volume and fullness to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) as well as subtle lip enhancement.

FDA-approved for lip augmentation, Restylane Silk creates long-lasting lip fullness and smoothing of wrinkles around the mouth. Restylane Lyft is approved by the FDA for cheek augmentation, as well as correcting and adding volume to your mid face. In addition, Lyft minimizes moderate to severe facial wrinkles and smile lines.

The Restylane collection also includes two next-generation hyaluronic acid dermal fillers formulated with XpresHAn Technology™, an innovative cross-linking technology. Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne are flexible hyaluronic acid gels specifically formulated so you can show your natural range of facial expression. Refyne and Defyne minimize moderate to deep laugh lines so your smiles, laughs and frowns look natural and supported for a lengthy period. Naturally you — only more youthful.

Volume, Beautifully Refined

Restylane Treatment

The Restylane Collection includes a range of hyaluronic acid fillers, each designed to do something slightly different. Some are softer and more delicate. Some give more structure and lift. Some are made to move more naturally in expressive areas of the face. That variety is what makes the collection so useful. It gives us the ability to choose a filler based on the area we’re treating and the kind of result you want.

Hyaluronic acid is a key element of the skin’s support structure, forming the fluid layer in which collagen and elastin fibers are embedded. By attracting and bonding water into your skin’s structure, hyaluronic acid builds dermal volume. The injection site, type, volume, and method will determine how much fullness your skin will achieve.

Restylane, Restylane Silk, and Restylane Lyft can be layered for additional effect and to fill areas of significant volume loss. Your specialist will assess your basic medical history and facial anatomy, and discuss your desired treatment goals to determine the right treatment plan for you.

Restylane

Restylane is one of the classic options in the collection. It is often used to soften facial folds, add support in areas with mild to moderate volume loss, and create smooth, natural-looking correction.

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft is usually used when the face needs a little more support and lift. It works well in the cheeks and mid-face, where volume loss can make the face look flatter or less defined over time.

Restylane Silk

Restylane Silk is a softer filler often used in the lips and around the mouth. It is a nice option when the goal is subtle shaping, smoother lip borders, or a more refined look without too much fullness.

Restylane Refyne

Restylane Refyne is designed to move naturally with facial expression. It is often used around the mouth, where flexibility matters and the result needs to look soft and relaxed.

Restylane Defyne

Restylane Defyne also moves naturally, but it offers a little more support than Refyne. It is often a better fit for deeper folds or areas that need stronger structure while still keeping a natural look in motion.

Where Volume Makes a Difference

What Aesthetic Concerns Can Restylane Address?

Restylane can treat a wide range of concerns, which is one reason patients like it so much. It works well for areas that need volume, shape, softness, or a little extra support. Some patients come in because their lips feel thinner than they used to. Some are bothered by folds around the mouth. Some want more cheek support or a smoother transition under the eyes. The collection gives us the flexibility to treat those concerns with a more tailored approach. Restylane may be used to address:

  • Thin or less defined lips
  • Under-eye hollowness in select patients
  • Flatter cheeks or mid-face volume loss
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Facial contour concerns
  • Scar revision in select cases
  • Early signs of facial aging
  • Areas that need subtle shaping or support

It is a very customizable treatment, and that matters. The face rarely needs the exact same thing in every area.

Soft Results, Fast

What Are the Benefits of Restylane?

One of the biggest benefits of Restylane is flexibility. Because the collection includes different formulas, treatment can be adjusted very closely to the area being treated and the result you want. Some patients want a softer lip treatment. Some want more cheek support. Some want smoother folds without looking like they’ve had work done. Restylane makes that kind of tailoring possible. Benefits of Restylane may include:

  • Immediate volume and contour improvement
  • Softer folds around the mouth
  • Fuller, more balanced lips
  • Refreshed support in the cheeks and mid-face
  • A more personalized treatment plan
  • Natural-looking results
  • Little to no required downtime
  • Results that can last around nine months to a year, depending on the product and treatment area

For many patients, the appeal is simple. The result is visible, the recovery is easy, and the treatment can be shaped around what feels right for their face.

Who It Works For

Am I a Candidate for Restylane?

Restylane can be a great option if you want to add volume, soften folds, or refine facial contours without surgery. It works especially well for patients who want a hyaluronic acid filler that can be tailored to different parts of the face.

Good Candidates

You may be a good candidate for Restylane if you:

  • Want fuller lips, smoother folds, or better facial contour
  • Have mild to moderate facial volume loss
  • Want a non-surgical treatment with visible results
  • Like the flexibility of a hyaluronic acid filler
  • Want results that look soft and natural
  • Understand that maintenance is part of the process

Who Is Not a Good Fit

Restylane may not be the right fit if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have an active skin infection, irritation, or cold sore near the treatment area
  • Have certain medical conditions that affect injection safety
  • Want permanent correction from one treatment
  • Need a different kind of injectable for broader volume loss or collagen support
  • Are not able to follow post-treatment instructions

This is something we sort out during consultation. Some patients are perfect candidates for Restylane. Others are better served with a different filler or a different treatment altogether.

Where the Details Matter

Your Restylane Consultation

Your consultation is where we figure out what your face actually needs. The collection includes several fillers, and each one behaves a little differently.

During your visit, we will look at the areas you want to treat, how your features balance together, and whether the goal is softness, contour, structure, or a combination of those. We will talk through which product makes the most sense, how much may be needed, and what kind of result you can realistically expect.

This is also your time to ask questions. We want you to leave feeling clear, comfortable, and well-informed before moving forward.

What Treatment Feels Like

What Is the Restylane Procedure Like?

A Restylane appointment is usually quick and easy to fit into the day. The skin is cleansed first, and if needed, a numbing method may be used to make the treatment more comfortable.

Once the area is ready, the filler is placed with a careful injection technique based on the product and the part of the face being treated. Some areas are more sensitive than others. Lips tend to be a little more intense. Cheeks and mid-face areas are often very manageable. Most patients do very well.

After treatment, it is normal to have some mild swelling, redness, or bruising. If the lips are treated, swelling can be more noticeable for the first few days before things start to settle.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Restylane family of injectable fillers gives instant results and immediate satisfaction. Overall, the volume filling effect of the hyaluronic acid products can last from nine months to a year. Restylane clinical trials have indicated that in cases where full correction has been achieved, more than two-thirds of the initial correction remains six to eight months after treatment. And, when a person who has previously achieved a full correction with Restylane receives a subsequent treatment, less filler is required to maintain the aesthetic effect. Full initial correction also appears to lengthen the time until the next treatment.

Short-term effects of injectables include minor discomfort upon injection as well as post-injection skin redness, swelling and bruising. In general, the more material that is injected, the greater the duration and extent of swelling. When the lip is injected, swelling may be more noticeable and usually lasts one to three days.

The Glow Starts Fast

When Will I See Results From Restylane?

One reason patients love Restylane is that you can usually see a change right away. The area often looks fuller, smoother, or better supported as soon as treatment is finished. That said, the final result still needs a little time. Swelling can make things look slightly fuller at first, especially in the lips.

What You Will Notice Right Away

Right after treatment, you may notice:

  • More volume
  • Smoother folds
  • Fuller lips or cheeks
  • Better contour in the treated area

You may also have some swelling, redness, or bruising. That part is normal.

When Restylane Settles

Most areas settle over the next several days. If the lips are treated, swelling can be more noticeable for one to three days before the result starts to look softer and more settled.

How Long Restylane Lasts

How long Restylane lasts depends on the product used, the area treated, and how your body metabolizes filler. In general, many patients enjoy results for around nine months to a year, though some areas hold a little longer, and some need touch-ups sooner.
