TREATMENT

With advanced, non-invasive, IPL laser technology, your skilled Kucumber provider will gently deliver precise amounts of light energy through your skin’s surface. This stimulates your body’s own natural collagen production. As new collagen forms, it softens the appearance of aging skin. Levels of energy customized to your skin are used to achieve maximum improvement.

The light energy is absorbed by the targeted skin tissue and creates controlled damage that triggers natural healing. Fine lines and wrinkles decrease. The redness of rosacea and aging can be dramatically reduced. Pore size will shrink.

The IPL Photofacial targets cells that contain excess pigment, causing the pigment to rise to the surface of the skin and slough off after a few days.  Because excess pigment is deposited at various levels in the skin’s layers, up to 6 treatments are required to reach deeper layers and obtain optimal results.  For vascular lesions, the Photofacial targets and collapses tiny redness-causing blood vessels, allowing your body to naturally absorb them.

WHAT TO EXPECT

lPL Photofacial treatment leaves your skin with a more youthful appearance and improved skin texture without any downtime. After only one 30-minute IPL Photofacial, your skin will have a more even tone and a smoother look and feel. These improvements will increase with each additional treatment. Patients with rosacea will see a progressive decrease in redness through a series of Photofacials. For a short time after a Photofacial, the treatment area may appear flushed, and targeted capillaries and brown spots may temporarily become more visible before disappearing. Depending on the area treated, most clients need a series of approximately five treatments.

Address a range of your skin concerns with one powerful — yet gentle — treatment technology. Kucumber’s IPL Photofacial services can bring more of your natural beauty to light.

I love the IPL Photofacials! I was scared of using a laser at 36 years of age but I am so excited that I did. I had red cheeks and a couple of sun spots. They are gone!!! I am hooked. My skin never looked so good and I get compliments daily. The Seattle team is amazing and I won’t go anywhere else!  —Misty
