Smooth lines, restore lip volume. Get rid of marionette lines. Correct age-related volume loss in your cheeks. Enjoy a more youthful face. As skin ages, the levels of naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid decrease, depleting tissue hydration and causing deep frown lines, lip lines, visible wrinkles, and sagging around your chin, jawline or cheeks. The Juvéderm® Collection of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers treats these lines, giving you a more youthful, radiant face.

Juvéderm® XC and Juvéderm Ultra® XC are hyaluronic acid gels designed to target and fill deeper lines, like those that develop around the nose and mouth. They may also be used in the lips to restore lost volume and increase fullness for up to one year.  JUVÉDERM Volbella® XC also adds subtle volume to lips and softens the appearance of vertical lip lines for up to 18 months. Juvéderm Voluma® is a long-lasting, hyaluronic acid and lidocaine dermal filler designed to restore fullness and volume to the cheeks and mid-face area. Voluma can also be used to balance and restore the chin profile to promote a more youthful fullness and appearance.  JUVÉDERM Vollure®,  the newest addition to the JUVÉDERM® collection of fillers, softens moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles to create a smoother appearance.

TREATMENT

Your specialist will assess your basic medical history and facial anatomy as well as your desired treatment goals. Hyaluronic acid is a key element of the skin’s support structure. It forms the fluid structure in which collagen and elastin fibers are embedded. It is highly effective at attracting and bonding water into your skin’s structure, thus increasing dermal volume. Juvéderm injectable gel will help smooth and fill deeper lines . Your product selection will be based on your desired outcomes and assessment with your specialist.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Juvéderm XC and Juvéderm Ultra XC
These dermal fillers will help to smooth and fill deeper lines, like those that develop around the nose and mouth. Typically, only one treatment is necessary to achieve optimal outcomes with the noticeable effect lasting between 9 months to 1 year. Short-term effects of injectables include brief discomfort upon injection as well as post-injection skin redness, swelling, and bruising. In general, the more material that is injected, the greater the duration and extent of swelling. When the lip is injected, swelling may be more noticeable and usually lasts 1 to 3 days.

Juvéderm Voluma
Juvéderm Voluma is designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface to lift and contour the cheek area.In a multi-site study of Juvéderm Voluma, at 6 months and 2 years after treatment, 92.8% and 79.0% of patients, respectively, rated their cheek volume as improved/much improved on the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale. Typical results last 9 months to a year and when treated again up to 2 years later, patients often need less product to achieve their results. Short-term effects of injectables include discomfort upon injection as well as post-injection skin redness, swelling, and bruising. In general, the more material that is injected, the greater the duration and extent of swelling.

Juvéderm Vollure and Juvéderm Volbella XC
Vollure and Volbella are designed with low- and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acids and enhanced cross-linking technology. This advanced formulation allows for a smooth-flowing product that produces less post-injection swelling than other dermal fillers. Both Volift and Volbella deliver results that are visible for up to 18 months. Short-term effects of injectables include discomfort upon injection as well as post-injection skin redness, swelling, and bruising. In general, the more material injected, the greater the duration and extent of swelling.

I enjoyed the doctor who did my injection. He took the time to listen to me and explain how he was going to address my concerns. It hasn’t been the full amount of time to see my results yet— but so far I am very pleased.— Dolores
