LETYBO is made by Hugel, a South Korean biopharmaceutical company, and it has been one of the leading neurotoxins in Korea for years. The FDA approved it in February 2024 for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines, the frown lines between your brows.
It works the way other botulinum toxin type A products do, blocking the nerve signal that tells those small muscles to contract. Less contraction means the line stops being reinforced every time you concentrate.

No. Botox is Allergan's product, and what people call Korean Botox usually means LETYBO, made by Hugel in South Korea. Both are botulinum toxin type A and both relax the same muscles, but they are separate FDA-approved products with their own dosing units. Our Bellevue injectors will explain the differences at your consultation.
Faster than you might expect from a first toxin appointment. Most people notice softening around day two or three, with full results settling by one to two weeks. If you are treating ahead of an event, book at least two weeks out so you see the finished result rather than the halfway point.
About three to four months for most people, though metabolism, dose, and how strongly you use those muscles all shift the timeline. The label specifies at least three months between treatments, and we hold to that. Guests who treat consistently often find their lines soften over time.
