Getting there takes layers. We start with a deep cleanse and exfoliation, clear congestion, then flood the skin with hydrating serums and finish with a barrier-sealing step that holds the result in place.
Your plan may draw on dermaplaning, Hydrafacial vortex extraction, a Spectra Laser Peel for pore appearance and pigment, or microneedling when texture runs deeper than the surface. We decide during your consultation, since a clogged, oily complexion and a dry, sun-damaged one need very different sequences.

Skin cycles roughly every 28 days, which is why we recommend monthly appointments. Guests who treat on that rhythm stop seeing the dull stretches between visits entirely.
Almost none. Expect mild pinkness for an hour or two, and slightly more if your plan includes a laser pass or microneedling. Skip heavy makeup, hot yoga, and swimming for the rest of the day. Most of our Bellevue guests book a facial on a Friday and go out that night without a second thought.

Active cystic breakouts are the one case where we may treat something else first and bring you back for the facial afterward.

The glass skin approach layers cleansing, exfoliation, clearing, saturation, and sealing, and may pull in dermaplaning, a laser pass, or microneedling depending on what your skin needs that day. It targets clarity and light reflection, not just hydration.
Book your first appointment at least a week ahead so any pinkness fully settles. For a wedding or milestone event, three sessions spaced four weeks apart give the best result, with the final one landing seven to ten days before the date. We will build the calendar backward from your event.
Mostly yes, with a short pause on retinoids, acids, and scrubs for about three days. Your aesthetician will tell you exactly which products to hold and when to restart. If your routine is working against your results, we will say so and suggest swaps rather than selling you a whole new shelf.
